This is our full directory of UK free bet offers — every bookmaker sign-up bonus we track, listed by what you actually get. The biggest is Betfred at Bet £10 Get £50; the lowest qualifying stake is £5 at Coral and Ladbrokes. Each entry links to our full guide for that offer, with the qualifying terms, claim steps and any promo code you’ll need.

Which Free Bet Offer Is Best?
On headline value, Betfred. Bet £10 Get £50 is a 5:1 return and the largest standard offer from any major UK bookmaker.
But headline value isn’t everything, and three things matter more than the number:
Flexibility. BoyleSports’ £40 is a single token you can use however you want. Betfred’s £50 is split, with £20 restricted to four-plus-selection accumulators. If you don’t bet accas, £40 flexible beats £50 restricted.
Qualifying stake. Coral and Ladbrokes ask for just £5 to unlock £30 — the best ratio available, and the lowest risk if you’re opening several accounts.
The terms. Minimum odds, expiry windows and which deposit methods qualify vary enormously. Star Sports’ free bets expire in 24 hours and need odds of 4/1; BoyleSports won’t trigger at all if you deposit with PayPal. Always read the individual guide before you commit a qualifying stake.

Free Bets for Horse Racing
Racing punters are usually better served by event-specific offers than generic sign-up bonuses — extra places, money back if your horse finishes second, and Best Odds Guaranteed are worth more over a season than a one-off free bet.

Do You Need a Promo Code?
Most UK bookmakers don’t use one — bet365, BoyleSports, Coral, Ladbrokes, BetVictor and LiveScore Bet all apply the offer automatically. A handful do: Betfred (BETFRED50), William Hill (R30), Midnite (BETGET30), Star Sports (BET40GET20) and BetGoodwin (WELCOME15).

Free Bets FAQs
Which UK bookmaker has the biggest free bet offer? Betfred, with Bet £10 Get £50 using code BETFRED50 — a 5:1 return and the largest standard welcome offer from any major UK bookmaker.
Which free bet has the lowest qualifying stake? Coral and Ladbrokes both offer Bet £5 Get £30, requiring half the qualifying stake of most bookmakers for the same £30 return.
Can I claim more than one free bet offer? Yes. Each welcome offer can be claimed once per customer, but there’s nothing stopping you opening accounts with several bookmakers and claiming each one. Most regular punters hold three or more accounts to compare odds.
Do free bet stakes get returned with winnings? Almost never. With nearly all UK free bets you keep the profit but not the stake — so a £10 free bet at 3/1 returns £30, not £40.
How long do free bets last? Usually 7 days from being credited, though it varies — Star Sports gives 24 hours, some casinos give 30 days. Check the individual offer page before you claim.
Is there such a thing as a no-deposit free bet? Very rarely. No-deposit offers have almost disappeared from the UK market under Gambling Commission affordability rules. Nearly every offer here requires a deposit and a qualifying bet.
Why hasn’t my free bet been credited? The three usual causes are an unqualifying deposit method (several bookmakers exclude PayPal, Skrill and Neteller), cashing out the qualifying bet, or missing a required promo code. Check the specific offer page for that bookmaker’s terms.
